Acceptable use policy

What you may and may not do on our network. Supplements our Terms of Service.

PURPOSE

Aluy provides VPS hosting, dedicated servers, and IP/ASN (LIR) services for lawful, legitimate use only. This policy describes activities that are prohibited and may result in warnings, suspension, or termination.

ILLEGAL OR HARMFUL CONTENT

You must not use our services to store, distribute, or facilitate:

  • • Content or activity that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction, our jurisdiction (Germany/EU), or where the service is hosted
  • • Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or related illegal material
  • • Fraud, scams, phishing, or impersonation intended to deceive users or steal credentials or funds
  • • Terrorism, incitement to violence, or other serious crime

NETWORK ABUSE

The following are prohibited:

  • • Denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or participation in DDoS activity (as source, relay, or control)
  • • Unauthorized port scanning, vulnerability scanning of third parties without permission, or probing networks you do not own or lack authorization to test
  • • Open relays, bulk unsolicited email (spam), or hosting services primarily used to send spam
  • • IP address spoofing, BGP hijacking, or other routing abuse affecting third parties
  • • Cryptocurrency mining or other resource-intensive use that materially degrades shared infrastructure without prior agreement

MALWARE & PHISHING

You must not use our services to distribute, command-and-control, or profit from:

  • • Malware, ransomware, botnets, or exploit kits
  • • Phishing pages, credential harvesting, or fake login portals
  • • Services whose primary purpose is to attack or compromise third-party systems

ENFORCEMENT

We may investigate credible reports, preserve relevant logs where appropriate, and take action including: suspension of services, termination of accounts, and cooperation with law enforcement and payment processors when legally required.
