Refund policy
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request where we find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, serial cancellation patterns, or other manipulative behaviour. Repeated or bad-faith refund requests may result in account restrictions or termination.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to services which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
To request a refund, open a support ticket in the customer portal with your order ID.
Payment methods & refunds
Where possible, refunds go back through the original payment method. Details by method:
PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account.
Card / Klarna / other (Payrexx): Where supported, refunds go back to the original payment method. See Payrexx’s terms. We are not responsible for delays caused by Payrexx or the issuing bank.
Cryptocurrency: We do not send refunds on-chain. If a refund is due, we may arrange bank transfer (EUR) or service credit — whatever we agree on when you contact us. Exchange-rate risk between the time of payment and refund is borne by you.
Cash: Refunded via bank transfer after verification.
Chargebacks & payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your services immediately and recover any associated fees or costs. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.
Consumer right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason (§§ 312g, 355 BGB). The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.
To cancel, open a support ticket or email lain@aluy.net before the 14-day period expires.
If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision. The reimbursement will use the same payment method as your original transaction at no additional cost to you, except that cryptocurrency payments cannot be returned on-chain; in those cases reimbursement will be by another agreed method.
Exception — loss of withdrawal right: If you expressly consented to the immediate provision of the service before the withdrawal period expired and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance (§ 356 Abs. 4 BGB), you cannot withdraw once performance has begun. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal is also lost if performance has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB). This exception is communicated during the order process.
Subscription cancellations
Cancel anytime from the customer portal. Services terminate at the end of the billing period unless you select immediate cancellation.
For standard cancellations that run until the end of the paid period, customer data is typically scheduled for deletion within seven (7) days after the service end date. Immediate cancellation, abuse or payment-related termination, legal requirements, or manual/support actions you request may remove data sooner.
