Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and are set without consent in accordance with § 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz):

  • Session cookies — Login state, portal access
  • CSRF tokens — Security protection against attacks
  • Payment verification — Confirm transaction status

Note: the login session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Separately from cookies, while a session is active we keep a server-side security log of access to your account (including the IP address used, recorded at most once per day per IP, and failed sign-in attempts) for fraud prevention and account-security purposes. This is not done with cookies; see the Privacy Policy (“Account audit log” / “How long we keep it”) for the full description and retention period.

Non-essential cookies (require consent)

These cookies are set only with your express consent (§ 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG):

  • Preference storage — Remembers banner dismissals (requires consent)

These are only set if you click "Accept All" on the cookie banner.

What we don’t use

  • No advertising cookies
  • No third-party analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, etc.)
  • No fingerprinting or tracking across sites
  • No social media tracking pixels
  • No data sold to third parties
